This page is for the extended members of the St. Patrick's Family. Due to these wonderful Mastiffs, I have had the blessing of meeting some of the kindest people on the face of this earth. Thank you all for providing my babies with a life that any dog would be envious of. I treasure you all.

I presently own 3 Mastiffs, 2 of which are St. Patrick's bred Mastiffs. My first, St. Patrick's Sebastian Royal, purchased in 2000 was the first Mastiff my family has ever owned. The second is St. Patrick's Survival of the Fittest, aka 'Darwin' an owner surrender, (and our boy's nephew), was placed in our care Feb. 08 and typical to Tamara's Mastiffs he fit right in. The temperament of these dogs truly shines. Not only do Tamara's Mastiffs have impeccable true to the standard temperament and type, she, a life long mama to the dogs, is ALWAYS there to help you and answer any questions that might crop up. She never imply's your question is a dumb one and is there for the life of your Mastiff. She does a great job of screening potential new owners to insure her pups do not land in the wrong hands and that new owners are prepared for the challenge it takes to raise such a giant breed. She also takes her dogs back if a new owner can no longer care for their Mastiff. This is something we think ALL breeders should do. As an owner having one of Tamara's earlier bred pups, to a recently bred one, also shows how much she has strived to better the breed. I can't stress enough how helpful and caring she has been since we have purchased Sebastian. We will come back to Tamara for future Mastiffs hands down.

I contacted Tamara about breeding my bitch to her Bubba. She was both professional and friendly, I felt very comfortable with her, her ethics and ideals, and I was excited to embark on our puppy journey together. The breeding and pregnancy went smoothly, with lots of emails and phone chats back and forth, as well as lots of well-wishes. When the puppies arrived, her excitement almost equalled mine, and she shared in the joy of each little milestone while the babies grew. Tamara has continued to stay in touch and offer insight, friendship and support. My whole experience dealing with her has been a pleasant, memorable one.

I had been researching mastiff for about 2 years before I got my own. I had been looking for breeders also, but no one wanted to answer any of my questions. I either got a “come back when you’re ready to buy a puppy” or no response at all. Then I somehow came across St. Patrick’s Mastiffs and I was hooked from the beginning. I emailed Tamara and she got back to me within a day and answered any and all questions I had. I love everything about her! I was finally ready for my new baby in May, 2007, and after a long wait, I finally knew Sigmund would be mine! I made the 12 hour each way trip from Pennsylvania to Wisconsin to pick up my baby. Arriving at Tamara’s was like entering Mastiff DisneyWorld! It’s absolutely amazing. All of her dogs live with her in her house, and her home and yard are immaculately clean! First, I met all the “big guys” and I got to meet Sigmund’s dad, grand-dad, and of course the infamous Bubba! I loved each and every one of them, and they were the sweetest dogs ever. I also met some of the girls, and they were just as sweet! Then I met my baby J It was the most wonderful moment ever. He was one of the last to be picked up, but there were still a few puppies there, and Tamara said, “guess which one he is!” I guessed and I as right—Sigmund had run over to me, and was sniffing my shoe! He was the most adorable puppy I’ve ever seen. If you think Tamara’s big guys are beautiful, the babies are just to die for!!! It was such a wonderful experience. We went into Tamara’s house to finalize, where I met Pat, her wonderful husband, cooking for the dogs! Pat is just as amazing as Tamara is, and I cannot say enough about both of them.

Sigmund is now 14 months old and he is the love of my life. Tamara and I keep in communication, and she is ALWAYS willing to offer advice, or help me with anything I need. She’s had so many litters in her years and years of experience, but she loves and remembers each and every one of her babies. I feel like I get such special treatment, but she loves all her babies equally and is always willing to help anyone out, even if they don’t have a St. Pat’s baby. Sigmund is hands down the most wonderful dog I’ve ever had in my life. He was trained in about a week, knows numerous commands, and is the sweetest, most loving dog. He is perfect in just about every way. He has never acted out, or done anything he wasn’t supposed to. He may be out of the norm since he really has always been perfect, but a lot has to do with Tamara’s breeding program and the love she shows to all her dogs. I could never have picked a better breeder and as much as I do like other breeder’s dogs, I will never own a non-St. Pat’s Mastiff. The dogs are even more beautiful and sweet tempered than the pictures, and Tamara’s knowledge and guidance is something you will never find anywhere else. You can’t get any better than Tamara as a breeder, and the dogs don’t get any more beautiful than a St. Patrick’s Mastiff!!!

Thank you, Tamara, for the most amazing dog. I could go on an on about him all day if someone was willing to listen! He’s never met a person or dog he didn’t like, and has always been so sweet and loving in every situation. A Mastiff’s love is something that you can’t really describe in words, and I feel blessed to have one of your remarkable dogs!

Exceptional, huge, loving, outstanding temperament, …..I am not sure where to begin. I am the proud owner of St. Patricks Lucky Buck. Two years ago, Tamara matched us up with a wonderful puppy out of Corky and Kiki. I remember all too well the day we picked up our sweet, chunky boy.

After being greeted by this gorgeous litter, Tamara introduced us to the adult relatives. First came Hubba Bubba bounding towards us. All my husband could say was, "Oh my Lord! Just look at his head !" He had never seen a mastiff of this size, and the pictures did not do him justice. After meeting several of the adults, we were most amazed by their size and sweet, sweet temperament.

Our Buck is a blessing to our family. We take him everywhere with us, and needless to say, he is quite the attraction. He has become the soccer mascot for our daughter’s team! He is so loving and gentle with the little kids who wish to pet him. We are always so proud. He has such a silly personality which keeps us laughing every day!

We could not have picked a better breeder. Tamara is truly dedicated to her puppies FOR LIFE. I am not at all hesitant about emailing a question or calling her with a dilemma. Tamara responds quickly and is always helpful. I will go nowhere else for my NEXT mastiff puppy! Feel free to contact us with any questions. My boyfriend Jason and I fell in love with Mastiffs about 4 years ago in
2004 when we met our first one. Two years later we brought home our
first Mastiff, Zeus, January 15th, 2006. After we added Zeus to our
family I had found and joined a group online Mastiff forum and learned
about Tamara and her St. Patrick's Mastiffs on there. I found her
website and my boyfriend and I looked at it a lot. We fell in love not
only with her Mastiff's but also her very apparent love and commitment
for the breed. After emails and some chatting on the phone we knew that
Tamara was the breeder we were looking for and were ecstatic to get on a
waiting list for a puppy from her next litter (Chumley X Fanny). Despite
being very busy with the two litters, Tamara had made time to email
pictures each week and chat on the phone. We just recently brought home
our St. Patrick's boy, Cash. I flew 2,500 km from Alberta, Canada to
pick up Cash from Tamara's home in Wisconsin. I was very happy to meet
Tamara who welcomed me with open arms. I was very excited to meet
Tamara's Mastiffs who I had fawned over online for 2 years. They were
all very friendly and massive, exactly how I had imagined them to be and
how Tamara had described them. You could tell that these Mastiffs were
very well looked after and loved like a family member. A Mastiff haven!
I then flew home with Cash the next day back to Canada and he has been
the most amazing puppy! Cash and Zeus have become great buddies and we
are looking forward to the years to come and watching him grow.

From the time we first started corresponding with Tamara berry of St.Patricks Mastiffs, we found her to be extremely caring and knowledgeable about her mastiffs. She was diligent in screening us before agreeing to supply us with Diesel, since that time we have become close friends. She has helped us through our first litter, and has continued to be a mentor to us. We are very thankful for the help and friendship we have gotten from Tamara, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.

My husband and I have known Tamara and Pat since 1994. She has our total respect and admiration for so many reasons. Her ethics, dedication to the Matiff breed, always going that extra mile for both humans and the "babies", spending the time to make sure the pups go to the right home and making sure her retired ones stay at home for life. She is always available to answer questions and try to help any way possible. She firmly believes her commitment does not end when a pup is placed in a new home. She has never compro- mised her standards or ethics, even when I know it would have made her life so much easier. The amount of time she has spent on research is truly amazing. She has been a pioneer in so many ways.

We currently have three St. Patrick's mastiffs in our home. Their temperament is truly remarkable. They take every situation in stride, wheather, other people's pets, crawling babies, children, eldery with walkers or scooters or very large groups on the property. We have come to expect them to always be on their best behavior and never have been disappointed. It doesn't matter if it is on our property or in public. This has shown us, through the years, the excellence of their breeding and the breed. Tamara's breeding program shines. Hence, such wonderful "babies"!

We are truly grateful that, all those years ago, we were entrusted with our Hoss from Tamara's second litter. He helped set the standard for each mastiff that came into our home after him. Each one has met that standard and all have given us so much love, joy, and laughter. Everyone who meets them is of course impressed by the size, but after a short time they are much more impressed with their gentle, sweet, loving natures.

We are so proud to have these gorgeous beasts in our life, home and in our hearts. Thank-you Tamara for always being there and for making all this possible for so many people.

When I first contacted Tamera about 4 years ago, I knew I loved Mastiffs, and did own one, but really had no idea what a true Mastiff should look like until I visited her home.  It became obvious to me very quickly that Tamera was very educated and knowledgeable when it came to raising Mastiffs, and she had the most beautiful and loving Mastiffs that I had ever seen! Each Mastiff came to meet me one by one, and each was just as sweet and beautiful as the next. When we were lucky enough to adopt our Mya ( St Patrick's Grand Devotion), Tamera was supportive, and always emailed to check on progress and get picture updates as she grew. She was always there, and still is, to answer any questions we may have. We were then fortunate to breed our Mya back to one of Tamera's males, Chumley (St Patrick's Lucky Charm). I could not have asked for a better mentor when it came to this breeding, and Tamera was available to me 24 hours a day when the puppies where due. We produced 4 fabulous pups, and again, Tamera was there to help me with caring for our litter, and helping us place them in the best possible homes. We now have one of those babies in our family, and she is an absolute sweet heart, just like her Mom and Dad! I am so appreciative to Tamera for ALL of her help and advise, her caring and her love for not just her Mastiffs, but the Mastiff breed. As others have said before, anyone would be lucky to adopt a St Patrick's Mastiffs puppy! Janet Pickett Three Rivers Mastiffs 608-386-5980

Tamara,

I am not quite sure how to express my gratitude for you allowing Max to join our family.

Over the past few years you have been there to answer my questions and discuss any concern(s) that I had with my Mastiffs that were not even from you. Not even your lines. It did not matter who they came from. The dogs well being was a priority. As you know I have had German Shepherds for over 30+ years and do have considerable knowledge related to the breed. Yet with the Mastiffs, other than common sense and training I was clueless. That is where you shine.

I had not given up hope on having a St. Patrick’s baby--------I just was not sure how and when it would happen? The timing with Max was totally unexpected. It was a Blessing from God. I am sure of that.

Through the years I have had many dogs that I bred and owned. I love them all and they were and are family. Each one is very special to me. Yet sometimes -----there is one that slips in on you and steals a special place in your heart…………….Max is guilty of that crime. He is everything that I could hope for and expect in a Mastiff. Beauty, Brains, and Temperament all wrapped up in this wonderful boy! He has the best temperament of my Mastiffs. Does it sound like I am bragging on our boy????? Yes, I am and he is only eight months old today! Pictures are louder than words. I have plenty to share with you and will continue to do so. He is such a show off --------he should have been a Circus clown. He will do anything for applause and cheering! One minute he is a wild maniac running with his eyes crossed…. then in an instant he is a sweet teddy bear. I do have evidence in pictures. I am sure I sent them to you? He does love to be photographed. There may be a St. Patrick’s model in the making to join our other models. He is too wonderful not to share!

Those that have been fortunate enough to have a St. Patrick’s baby most likely believe as I do they have something special... If their babies are anything like Max, how could they not? I do wish I had more just like him. You most definitely are doing things right! Is there something in the water at St. Patrick’s ??????

God Blessed me first with your friendship and then Max. I treasure both. They are special gifts. I believe when someone comes into your life that gains you trust and respect ----you need to cherish that relationship as I do ours. Thank you Tamara for being the wonderful person and breeder you are.

God Bless,

Linda

When I stumbled onto your website, I was amazed at how nice your dogs look and I didn't even know about you. Too many mastiffs out there that are either too "Dane" like or "bullmastiiff" like. You have the true balance and type that Mastiffs should be. Keep up the great work.

I do want to thank you because
she is exactly what I imagined a mastiff to be. She has her wild child
moments, but she is so sweet and everyone that sees her has to tell me how
beautiful she is. I don't think there is a mean bone in her entire body.
That is what I wanted. Destiny is everything I was hoping for and more. I
love her more and more every day. I don't think I could ever stop thanking
you for allowing me to share my life with her. It is so obvious that your
heart and soul is in all of your dogs. I don't mean to sound sappy but she
is everything that I had hoped for and more. Thank you so much.

A few months ago we had to put down our two-year-old mastiff due to severe hip dysplasia. We had purchased him from a well-known breeder and were just devastated. Grief stricken, I began a new search of mastiff breeders and came upon St. Patrick's web page. Her web page spoke of the health and temperament of her dogs, which was very important to us. We decided to purchase a female puppy from St. Patrick's and we couldn't be happier. This little puppy is the sweetest dog, and right from the start her little personality came through. From the moment Simka began her journey to our home she settled right in. She takes every new event in stride, loves everyone, and enjoys meeting new people from babies to seniors. Simka also has a very comedic side to her as well as wanting to cuddle and be loved. She is thriving and is a beautiful girl. Tamara is very helpful and was open to any questions before and after the purchase of our puppy. St Patrick's mastiffs are gentle, playful, sweet-tempered animals. If you are thinking of purchasing a mastiff, I highly recommend you speak with Tamara and take time to see her dogs. You won't be disappointed.

When I first found out about Tamara our family already had a wonderful Mastiff filling our family life with fun and joy. I was drawn to Tamara and her dogs first through the images on her web page, then through our conversations, and finally after making a visit to her home. I asked her all sorts of questions and she never once made me feel like I was taking too much of her time or asking what some deemed silly or stupid questions. Once we were set on the idea of adding a St. Patrick’s and Tamara was comfortable with us being a good home for one of her babies we worked together to determine which litter and which pup would be the best fit for us, Glee (Malcolm X Ingrid.)

Glee became Luma and we have been blessed to have her with us for the past four years. Luma is a big, beautiful, and laid back girl. A couple years later we went back to Tamara and added Reba (Bubba X Sheeba) to our family. Reba is a bundle of joy and always goofing around. She adds spark to things around here and makes our kids laugh almost daily. As large and these guys are they continue to amaze me with how soft and gentle they are. Our daughter Sarah is medically fragile and requires in-home nursing support. Luma will literally go and check on Sarah to see if everything is okay. She also will try to help Sarah through her frequent seizures by softly licking her.

Besides the great support prior to adding a St. Patrick’s puppy, the support during the purchase process, working with Tamara means that you will have support and help throughout your dog’s life. With any dog there will be issues that pop up from time to time. When those times occur I know without a doubt that I can pick up the phone and call Tamara to get help, advice, links to information on the web, or phone numbers to other St. Patrick’s folks who might be able to lend a hand.

If anyone reading this would like to hear more about our experiences with Tamara, her dogs, and St. Patrick’s Mastiff just get in touch.

Our "little girl" Violet (St. Patrick's Chunk O'Charm) turned eleven in November and, as I've said many times before, she has been a blessing and a gift. Neither my husband nor I had owned a large dog before, so we took some time to become familiar with the breed. We were lucky to meet Tamara and Pat and their beautiful boy, Governor, who was the perfect ambassador for the breed and for St. Patrick's Mastiffs. Tamara carefully considered us as potential "parents" as well, which was very reassuring. It's obvious how much she loves these big, wonderful babies. She has always been there for us, to answer questions, or to just keep in touch and trade photos. It's wonderful to see how the St. Patrick's family has grown over the years and it's safe to say that somehow, Tamara keeps track of every last member. Violet has been an absolute joy. At times, she is a quiet and comforting friend, and at other times, a silly goof! We cherish every minute with her and love her more than we can say.

When my husband and I decided to purchase another mastiff we set out to look for the best quality mastiff we could find.We interviewed several breeders. Then we called Tamara. She interviewed us. This was very surprising and nice for a change. She was very concerned about how and where we considered keeping a new puppy. Most breeders we spoke to only asked questions like what color do you want? She will try to match you with a puppy that will work well for your family.Even if that means calling another breeder she knows. That is if you are chosen to make a good parent to one her babies. She loves all mastiffs. Not just her own, and I have never heard her speak out against another breeder. She is a very kind person and if you spend enough time with her on the phone you will see this.It is my belief that Tamara is very successful in raising and breeding top quality mastiffs because she is a Honest person with a good heart. She does her best to make good decisions when breeding her girls. She stands behind her breeding choices and all of her puppies in her breeding program a 100%. We ended up with 3 pups from her. They all are great dogs with wonderful temparments. All of them have at least one picture listed on her show ring page.We were looking for show pups and that is what we ended up with. They all are doing well in the show ring.We could not be happier with our babies. If you are searching for a pet or show puppy I hope you will be chosen by Tamara to have one of her babies. It is truley a priviledge to own one and I have no doupt that if you get one you will be more than pleased with your new friend and new puppy.

My husband and I spent nearly 2 years searching for the right breeder to purchase our first Mastiff puppy. We were referred to Tamara by a breeder in Missouri who purchased his first pups from her years ago. He had nothing but wonderful things to say about her and her breeding program. After the first time speaking with her last year, we have no doubts why he raved about her! We picked up our Sophie (Champ X Petra) in August 2009 and have been in Mastiff heaven ever since. Sophie is the love of our lives. We talk constantly about her to friends and family and cannot wait to come home to have her greet us with such exuberance and love. She has never met a person or dog that she didn't absolutely love and everyone comments that she is a giant sweetheart. She is the most beautiful girl in the whole world. She was easy to train and is so smart. We can't imagine our lives without her, and look forward to adding another St Patrick's Mastiff to our family in the future. Thank you Tamara for giving us this wonderful dog and always being there to answer every question we send your way- you are SO appreciated! Kevin and Nicole Booze Wichita, Kansas

That made already some time that I had discovered Mastiffs St Patrick on Internet, and I dreamed to have one at the house of them.

I had already contacted Tamara to have either a pup or of the sperm frozen of Bubba but each time that which been able to be done.

And then Tamara married Champ and Petra, the dream: in the pedigree of Mary there are many the mastiffs St Patrick which gave me desire!

Then I crossed the ocean to go to seek my Invaluable Mary and I am really happy to have made it, it has all qualities which I wanted: Powerful, osseous, adorable and very funny, I am really very happy of it.

I am impatient to see how it will be once adult because for the moment it grows with wonder.

I spent one day formidable with Tamara and Patrick when I came to seek Mary, I adored our contact in spite of the barrier of the language… if I had been able, I would have liked that my stay in Wisconsin is prolonged, but I'll be back... I hope :)

Thank you Tamara for our Proud Mary.

We are the lucky, lucky, lucky, and the very fortunate parents of TORQ!

(They are more like our children than our pets, so I think of us as his parents……)

TORQ will be joining our family as our 2nd Mastiff, Our first from St. Patrick’s Mastiffs.

My wife has spent hours and hours, days upon days researching, talking and exploring the mastiff world. It’s through that process that we were so privileged to discover Tamara and St. Patrick’s Mastiffs. No other breeder that we talked to had the heart and passion for the Mastiff breed like Tamara. This whole time Tamara has been raising and nurturing these little giants in our backyard (well at least an hour a away seems that way!). The selection process utilized by St. Patrick’s Mastiff’s not only ensures a quality pet, but a lifelong addition to our family; someone that will play with us and laugh with us. That bond is irreplaceable and I am sure the Endeavour this little man is going to join us on will be an adventure.

When we first met Tamara and her dogs, we were amazed at their size and also their temperament. The pictures online do not do a justice. With kids, temperament is important. Claude, our first mastiff, reminds us of Eoar from Winnie the Pooh, and when we met Tamara’s dogs they projected the same easy going disposition. We could spend weeks with Tamara and still never grasp all the abundance of knowledge and love she has for her dogs. After our puppy was born, Tamara kept in constant contact with our family; along with frequent email updates, and photos of Torq. Its reassuring to know that we not only have a new dog, but we also have new friends in Montello , friends that we hope to share our adventures with. We cannot express enough gratitude for what we have been blessed with but we will try. Thank you again for the amazing opportunity for our lives to intertwine and share a forever bond, all created by a love for this little giant.

(We look forward to updating Tamara’s website with Torq’s future pictures and experiences.)

Since four years I own my first Mastiff called Finn– to my 30 birthday I made a dream come true

owning a Mastiff. Finn is a schooled therapy dog.

One year ago I started to search a companion for Finn and me.

I searched the web and found Tamaras homepage of St. Patrick, seeing this unbeliveable, georgeous

dogs, I fell directly in love with them.

Now I had a big problem – I live at Germany and had absolut no experience with the theme „ dogs

made international flights“

It was a hard decision for me – I loved Tamaras dogs so much, but before I made something else

than admire her dogs on her homepage, I had to investigate what is requiered to „ import“ a puppy

to Germany and which ways are possible for the puppies flight.

After I talked to the airline I would use for the flight I was very happy, cause they told me, that it

will be possible that the puppy will fly inside the passengers cabine.

The bureaucracy requiered for a puppy „import“ won't be a problem so that I decided to write

Tamara introducing myself.

During the last year we had a wonderful mail contact and for my great joy Tamara agreed and

allowed me to pick up one of her loved babies.

I was so happy about this new. We stayed in contact and I couldn't wait for the mail „ Your baby is

born“.

Time went by and I got a great offer. The university of Duesseldorf wants me to offer the therapy

dog work at their hospitals – if I can offer twice a week for eight hours.

Now I had the next problem – I won't ask to much of my dogs and it is not possible to offer 16

hours a week therapy dog work with two dogs later.

If I would like to do this work and would like to make the breed and the Mastiff as therapy dog

more popular at Germany I needed one more dog.

I wouldn't like to provoke my luck, but I had such a amazing contact to Tamara and knew her as a

very loveable person I pluck up courage and told her about this chance and asked her, if she has one

puppy not spoken for, so if she would agree that I would pick up two of her wonderful babies.

I didn't erred and she agreed.

The lucky day comes and I recieved the the mail I waited for so long - „ Your babies live and their

mother is healthy“

Cause of the great distance between our homes and cause I trusted Tamara so much, we decided that

she made a choice for me, which babies could be the babies for me. She knew that I would like to

school my babies as therapy dogs and so the also knew how the my puppies should be charactered.

Let me say it directly – Tamara made a great choice for me.

She mailed me pictures of my babies and I felt in love with them directly.

Now I waited for the big day - the day I would pick up my puppies.

I arranged the flight inside passangers cabine for my puppies to Germany and booked my flight for

September the 1. My mother was so friendly to fly with me, so that each of us could take care for

one baby on our flight back.

After a 23 hour travel, coming directly from Germany Tamara allowed us to meet our babies at the

same day.

During our drive from Chicago to Tamara I gave her twice a call and the impression of Tamara I

had from our mails was acknowledged by the call. Tamara lived a little bit hidden but we found it.

We arrived arround 7pm.

Tamara and her husband received us very friendly and warm – my opinion about Tamara was totaly

acknowledged – and my choice to pick up a puppy from her was the best I could do.

Both are very warmhearted and loveable.

After they entertained us with a cold drink – this was really needed after our long journey – Tamara

showed us my babies, their parents and her other dogs - oh my god, I will never forget this

moment, the first time I met Maya and Benjamin – we loved this cute babies right from the first

moment.

I have never seen such wonderful Mastiffs before.

Her Mastiffs have a great and very clean area to move free arround.

Every dog should have such positive living conditions.

After we had a great evening together I can say – we met as foreigners and left as friends

We were able to spend our time at the USA with our new family members.

After five days we left with our puppies, knowing we had found new friends.

Like arranged we made the flight back with Maya and Benjamin right on our knees - normaly they

had their own seat between my mother and me, but most time of the flight we cuddled them.

For us it was a great experience and I hope the beginning of a great friendship for the future.

I am very unhappy about this great distance between Tamaras and my home but I hope we will meet

again face-to-face in the future.

I left very loveable friends at the USA and look forward to our future contact.

Today I am proud having St. Patricks Benjamin and St. Patricks Maya as my new and loved family

members.

We searched for a very long time to find the “perfect” addition to our family. We talked with almost 40 different breeders before meeting you. Most of the breeders were only interested in selling puppies and not matching the perfect puppy into the perfect home. It was truly refreshing to find someone that was focused on the breed and ensuring that the puppies were going to good homes. You have some of the most beautiful Mastiffs that I have ever seen and maybe more importantly you have a beautiful philosophy on who you allow your puppies to go to.

It was certainly an experience in making the trip across the country to pick our baby, and what a hard decision it was. The pictures you have of the parents and the new puppies don’t do justice for how truly amazing your dogs are. I can tell you that if the Brindle Male weren’t already spoken for we would have been taking two puppies home that day.

Thank you for all of your patience in answering ALL of the questions we had about your dogs and their puppies. At first I felt like I was bothering you with all of our questions but soon realized you were as excited as we were.

Again, thank you for everything…we will be back!

St. Patricks Mastiffs is an absolutely incredible experience for anyone who's truly ready to make a full lifetime mastiff commitment. Though the photos on this website are stunning, they do not justify the sheer massiveness of these particular mastiffs when met in person. It was quite literally a jaw-dropping site to witness when my family went to pick up our pup. Bubba and Mulligan loved the attention from our kids, and both of them cried like colossal babies when you'd walk away. They let Cactus Jake out when we were there and he rendered us all speechless! Malibu was probably the most beautiful female brindle I've ever seen. The loyalty of these monstrously sized dogs were illustrated every time Tamara was remotely in site, and how they'd whine for their Mama's attention. Tamara has definitely put her heart and knowledge in breeding these enormous and loveable beasts. The temperament of these gentle giants are a mirrored reflection of how wonderfully nice and patient both Pat and Tamara were to my family. I'm a firm believer in "bigger is better" when it comes to a mastiff's appearance and "better is bigger" when it's comes to their temperament. St. Patricks Mastiffs without a doubt puts both the bigger and better in their mastiffs, as well as the mastiff experience for anyone who truly wants to commit to a HUGE new family member. My family and I were blessed with a beautiful brindle boy named "Atlas", from the Mulligan X Malibu litter. He's an absolute delight!

Thanks,

Joe and family

I have been a mastiff owner for about fifteen years. Since then I have done a lot of research on the breed. I currently own three mastiffs. My recent baby comes from St. Patricks Mastiffs. What a treat. I struck gold! Tamara's mastiffs are the best looking I have ever seen. They are what a mastiff should look like and Dougs temperament is just awesome. What an outstanding puppy and may I add huge. He is a walking tank.

Tamara is the most down to earth breeder I have ever met and I have conversed with many. I don't remember one call where she didn't pick up the phone. I don't know how she does it. She makes me feel as though we have known each other all of our lives. I could talk to Tamara for hours. I think one of her biggest assets is she truely cares about her dogs. That is huge in my eyes. She loves her dogs and it shows. She should be commended for that.

I am so pleased with Doug. I can't wait to get my next mastiff from Tamara. Her dogs are outstanding!!!

"I have always been a dog lover, but never really understood the depth at which I could love a four-legged furry child. I have owned between 2 and 5 labs most of my adult life, a rescue Siberian Husky, and now a rescue lab/golden mix. I had always dreamed of owning an OEM my entire life.
I researched the breed, joined all the forums, and looked for 2 years for the right breeder. I learned enough to stay away from the back yard breeders but had a hard time finding the right one. That's when I learned about Tamara, and her St Patrick's Mastiffs.
When the time was right for a new addition, totally against my husband's better judgement, I contacted Tamara. I was in awe by her insistence on talking to me and getting to know me, my family, and my pack. She is so dedicated to her babies and her extended family that she does everything to make sure she puts her pups with the right 2 legged family.
The wait to find find out if we were indeed going to get to join that family was excruciating! When the call came that we had in fact been chosen, I was ecstatic!!! The day my baby was born is still a joke around my office as I ran around telling everybody that "IT'S A GIRL!!!". They were surprised I didn't hand out cigars.
When the time came, me and my two children flew to Wisconsin to pick up our St Patrick's Simply Southern, Elly May. We had never seen one of Tamara's dogs in person. It was late April, but there had been a spring snow in Wisconsin. Our greeter...Cactus Jake who plowed around the side of Tamara's house in a full out, crossed eyed, barreling, drooling, run! My son saw him first. All I heard from his mouth was "Oh my God!!!". We met all of the grown babies including mom and dad, Mulligan & Dot. Finally meeting our sweet Elly May. Her Mastiff home was impeccable, clean, and orderly. The dogs were all well behaved, slobbering bears! I was instantly in love with them all! We spent lots of time there with Tamara and Pat answering all of our questions. We left with a care package, food, and lots of instruction.
At 8 weeks Elly was already too big too big to fly, so as planned we rented a car and drove from Wisconsin back to South Carolina.
Elly May is now 19 months old. She hasn't filled out completely yet. But is at the max in height for her breed and is weighing in around 160 pounds. Of my 5 dogs, she is the only one my husband allows in the bed with us, remember he wasn't sure of getting her in the beginning. Now he says as our labs grow old and pass he will only need one lab to hunt, and the rest will be Tamara's mastiffs.
There is no way to explain their personalities and temperament. Elly loves to swim, and stays wet in the pool all summer. She is protective of my whole family in that she goes crazy when anyone swims in the deep end of the pool. She runs to the deep end, jumps in and nudges you back to the shallow end. She has even grabbed my 5 yr old nephew by his shirt and pulled him to the shallow end! She goes to work with me everyday. My husband is a physician and I run the office. She loves our patients. Some come by when they don't have an appointment just to see Elly and how much she's grown since their last visit. It's odd how when she walks into our lobby full of patients she ignores those calling her and migrates to the one in a wheelchair or the most fragile in the crowd and lays her head in their lap. She has been known to climb on the sofas in the lobby and root someone out of their spot. This breed is not one to be taken lightly, and I understand why Tamara is so picky and matches the dog to the people. They are the most humble, kind, empathetic, and aloof animal alive. They need love, understanding, compassion, and more.
As they say, I love all my dogs. But none the way I cherish Miss Elly. She is my heart. My kids even have been known to say that I love Elly more than them, which is not true! I just love her as much!!
Tamara has been with me the whole way, phone calls, emails, and FB messages. She never minds the questions or concerns no matter
how ridiculous they seem. She has even taught my vet a thing or two about giant breeds, and they now value her opinion.
So, thank you Tamara for my Elly May. Thank you for all you do for this breed. You have become my friend, and confidant and I hope you will allow me the pleasure of future babies.
If you are considering an OEM for your family, and you are lucky enough for Tamara to consider you, please feel free to email me at sonyamclaurin@bellsouth.net. I'll be happy to fill you in on the best decision of your life!
